Zahlreiche Arbeitseintragungen mit blauem Buntstift und schwarzem Bleistift von alter Hand. Titel mit Verleger- und Besitzstempel. Insgesamt gutes, breitrandiges und nahezu fleckenfreies Exemplar ohne wesentliche Gebrauchsspuren. FIRST EDITION of the score - still without indication of the opus number. At the same time HIGHLY INTERESTING DOCUMENT ON THE HISTORY OF PERFORMANCE. This first edition of the score was used for performance purposes at the Städtische Bühnen in Erfurt. Before the respective acts or musical numbers, the declamatory accompaniment to Beethoven's music to Egmont (1821) is included, written in an old hand, with the text by Friedrich Mosengeil (1773-1839), which was most likely recited by a speaker at the respective places during performances. Beethoven had already dealt with Goethe's tragedy "Egmont" in 1809/10. The premiere took place in Vienna in May 1810. Until it was printed in 1831, the publisher Breitkopf & Härtel distributed the score in copies - also officially through the trade. Musiknummern ist von alter Hand geschrieben die declamatorische Begleitung zu Beethovens Musik zum Egmont (1821) eingebunden, mit dem Text von Friedrich Mosengeil (1773-1839), der höchstwahrscheinlich bei Aufführungen an den jeweiligen Stellen von einen Sprecher vorgetragen wurde. Beethoven setzte sich bereits 1809/10 mit Goethes Trauerspiel "Egmont" auseinander. Die Premiere fand im Mai 1810 in Wien statt. Bis zur Drucklegung 1831 vertrieb der Verleger Breitkopf & Härtel die Partitur in Abschriften - auch offiziell über den Handel.
