A SPECIAL LETTER OF MEYERBEER! Written to a friend to whom he sends 3 "stalles" (place cards). Since only two of the three places were together, the friend unfortunately had to leave the two ladies in his company. In exchange, he would have the pleasure of spending the evening next to the German writer Franz Grillparzer. - Grillparzer stayed in Paris for three months in the spring of 1836 and made the acquaintance of Meyerbeer. - Begleitschreiben an einen Freund, dem er 3 "stalles" (Platzkarten) schickt. Da nur zwei der drei Plätze beieinander seien, müsse der Freund sich leider von den beiden Damen in seiner Gesellschaft trennen. Er habe dafür das Vergnügen, den Abend neben dem deutschen Schriftsteller Franz Grillparzer zu verbringen. - Grillparzer hielt sich im Frühjahr 1836 für drei Monate in Paris auf und machte dort u.a. die Bekanntschaft mit Meyerbeer.
