Rare document. - Ticket with imprint "Concert von Hermstedt", on the back with Weber's autograph abbreviated name "CMvWbr". Card with handwritten numbering "157", as well as a printed decoration: clarinet, lyre, music book, laurel branch and braided flower wreath. - Johann Simon Hermstedt (1778-1846) was the leader of the harmony music in Schwarzburg-Sonderhausen and one of the most important clarinet virtuosos of his time. In 1812 he met C. M. v. Weber for the first time during a concert in Gotha. Further joint concerts took place between 1812-1824. The last meeting of the two was in 1824 in Quedlinburg on the occasion of a Klopstock festival. There Helmstedt played under Weber's direction in the theater. - The clarinet concerto commissioned by Hermstedt from Weber in 1812 was never completed by Weber.
